Day 4

WE ARRIVED!


Km: 802.3
States & Provinces: Montana, Idaho, Washington & BC
Tolls: TOLL FREE... I don't know why the Eastern States like to charge and arm and a leg for tolls, you don't even have to pay a toll to cross the border on this side.

Observations: Idaho definitely wins the trophy for the most treacherous state to drive in!!!! The steep, winding roads were freaky, especially in the rain! As for Washington, half of it was extremely boring to drive through...

...but half was interesting. We stopped at a scenic look out along the way and the view was breathtaking. It was also extremely windy.

We took a detour to Vancouver and went to visit my great-aunt. It was kind of neat meeting my grandmother's sister.

Then we did the journey to Abbotsford in the rain and dark, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to actually see Abbotsford. I thank God for getting us here alive and with no complications.
