This afternoon I went to a nearby Catholic monastery. I wanted to sign "the hills are alive with the sound of music." Meanwhile in the background a special group was there making amazing music with the tower bells.
While there, we had an interesting conversation with a monk. Oddly enough his parents were from Mississauga and Thorold (who would have thought). We chatted about how some people see Catholicism as a cult and/or separate from Christianity. However, while talking, there was no doubt in my mind that this man was a Christian. His most adamant point was that Jesus is Lord.
The nature surrounding the monastery was so beautiful and refreshing to the soul.
